I agree with other posters that $10 per point can be low and for some of the new purchasers barely breaks even. But, all the documents from DVC warn about trying to make any money renting because you are in competition with Disney. I saw on another board that Mousesavers is reporting OKW studios for $160 and 1 bedrooms for $215 from 7/4-10/3.

For July through mid-August a weeknight in a one-bedroom costs 22 points or $220....$80 more than folks "might" be able to get from Disney Weekends would be $540 which is ridiculous versus $215. Even in September the rental of $160 weekdays might not be enough of a savings vs. $215 for people to give up the convenience of dealing direct with Disney and they certainly wouldn't pay $400 for the weekends.

Lots of factors effect what someone will pay for a rental. I think it's almost a case-by-case basis what you will be able to get from someone.
