You most certainly can have the dining plan. Like for instance we are staying at AKL Dec 1-5 and CSR Dec 5-9. We have the dining plan on our one package for 4 nights and the dining plan on our other package for 4 nights.
To do split stays you have to have two reservations. So you just add the dining plan to your first and your second reservation.
Follow me? Or confused...![]()
I am also interested in this, for those that have done it, how do you make the res on the web site. or is it better to call the res center? also, do you pay your account up when you check out of the first?
Pirate translation:
arrghh, how do ye get the scallywags to steer yer course without a'having to keehaul the lot of the landlubbers? arrrhhh arhhh.
Sorry I don't speak pirate but I understood your first part.
The reservations are two different reservations/packages so it doesn't matter which way you do it. This also means that down payments must be paid on each one. Actually the resorts don't even know that you just stayed at another resort or that you are moving on to another one. They will assist you in moving your luggage but you must call baggage service/valet and arrange it yourself. When you leave one resort you pay up the account for that one then start a new account at the next one.
We almost always do a split stay. Count me as another that doesn't fully unpack my suitcase. I would not do it if I stayed at a resort for less than four days. That would be a hassle and not leave enough time to settle in. Split stays make the vacation seem longer and more varied.
Another advantage is the dining plan. We do the dining plan but at just the first resort. Then at the second one we rent a car and spend some time offsite.
P.S. I lied - I do speak pirate ya skurvy mates.![]()
