I am going Aug 9-15 staying at DVC and doing the basic DDP. The first time I called last week, I didn't have res #. I was told I couldnt book any ADR without it!:confused3 From what I understand, is you can make ADR's regardless of if you are staying onsite or off within 90 days and that only Disney resorts guests can do the 90+10. Ok so I was within 60 days of my trip and didn't have my resort res# as I called from work. Why did they refused to make them for me?

Now I called today with my res# and it took about 5 mins for her to actually ask me what ressies I was looking for. She asked me for resort res#, name, address, phone and verified my dates and put me on hold twice momentarily. Is the new system slow and she was asking questions to kill time. The process was almost as bad as making ADR for NYE last year!

Yea, the new system stinks. Good luck making your ADRs. Let us know how you do this late. I'm going Aug. 16 and might need to change some of mine, but just not looking forward to calling the dine-line as it's so painful.

Well Le Cellier was out, except for Lunch. I wasn't able to get Spoodles either, which was surprising...maybe because they are closing?:confused3

I was able to get the others, Kona, Captain Grille, Tutto Italia, Chefs de France.

I am going before free dining, so I was surprised to not get LC and Spoodles.

I think if you are staying onside Disney wants to be able to tie your ADRs to your room reservation for data collection purposes. I am sure they do some analysis with this that proves to be valuable to them.

I can understand that, however they would NOT allow me to make an ADR without proof that I had a ressie for a Disney resort. This is within 60 days??

Next time just call DVC guest services. You can book your ADRs through them as well.

I've called several times to make/change/confirm my ADRs (Aug 16-22), and most of the CMs were quick and efficient and I don't get asked a bunch of questions. However, once or twice I've gotten a CM who took FOREVER asking me questions and putting me on hold. Even though there have been reported problems with the system recently, I think it mostly all depends on who you get...

After hearing all of the Horror stories here and was REALLY hesitant
in making our ADR's that was until............................

TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I called right at 7AMEST and waited for about 10 mins and
got everything I wanted and at the time I wanted!!!!

Guess I just got lucky...............:confused3
