200 point owner at BW. Happy with the points we have. Limited to certain times of year to travel...usually higher point use times (teacher). I have never even visited AKL so I have no feel for the facilities....
So, why should I add on at AKV and if I were to, how many....ability to use the points is probably more of an issue than paying for them.
Feel free to offer any and all advice....it's a snow day.

Wow, if I had been happy with the points that we had before our 100 point AKV add on, I wouldn't have done it!

My primary motivation was getting into a resort that will have dedicated 2 bedrooms for my DS's family to enjoy, at a resort that would make us happy! We own at BWV (no dedicated 2 bedrooms) and VWL (yes, but I don't want to only go to VWL, it's our personal favorite, but I want to give our family different experiences). I was going back and forth wondering if a BCV add on was worth it, and AKV came along. The extra years and the animals really clinched it for us!! It's just what I wanted (even if I didn't know it)!

Definately go visit AKL before you buy. If you have never been inspired or curious to visit, are you sure you will be happy staying there?

If all you are looking at is to be able to book a ded 2br there are some really good resales at SSR and OKW that will work for you.

We'll be down in a couple weeks and have dinner ressies at Boma, so I expect we'll be able check it out. I've actually never used the 2br l/o as an incentive for purchase. We bought BW after years of consideration, mostly for the location.
