is doing homework so hard. kevin is studying for a test tomorrow. I've been helping him but he is driving me nuts! He is very creative in his aviodance tacties but I don't want to be doing this all night!

I am not looking forward to the homework days. DD does get homework every couple weeks from preschool and is wonderful in doing it on her own....we are going to try to keep this habit going.

We have good days and bad day too. Especially when it comes to math. One more month of school! Yay! We all need a break.

Actually I'm lucky this year, dd in fourth grade gets homework but she always has time to do it before the end of the day at school , so the teacher knows that she does it there and that I don't see it. He's very aware of that and if she ever has a problem or he notices a serious drop he's to notify me , it has never happened, sometimes she doesn't have enough time to finish and she will bring it home but it doesn't take her longer than 10 minutes.
My youngest one ( in kindergarten ) gets 4 pages of homework a week , gets them on monday and they are due on friday , it takes her 30-45 minutes to do it because she's impatient and sloppy but I make her re-do it. Next year she will be getting homework everyday , she's in for a shock let me tell you.

The only homework that my kids drive me nuts about is when they have math homework. They both hate math.

Since Kelsea is writing with her left hand everything is taking longer. She's been up late for several days now.
