Why not use CC Debit Cards with Hotwire?

I read somewhere in a previous thread that you should not use a debit card or a debit card that you can use as a credit card with Hotwire? I was just wondering why not? have there been a lot of bad experiences doing so?

If so, I might just spend the extra dollars and buy my tickets at the Disney store.

So far for vouchers I have used my paypal debit and have not had a problem?

The Hotwire Savings Club is run by Connections. Connections has a HORRIBLE record and debit cards don't offer the same protections as real credit cards.
