Why not a Sports Forum here on The Dis???

It just occurred to me, as I spent the last ten minutes searching for the fantasy baseball thread, how come there isn't a sports forum on The Dis??? There are forums for gardening and scrapbooking, cooking and crafting, college and teens, yet nothing for us sports enthusiasts! If there were a forum dedicated to us sports nuts, then we wouldn't have to clutter up the community board with Nascar, Football, baseball, college sports, etc.
Just a thought, might be something worth thinking about!!!

True it is a Disney site but there is many other topics that are discussed in here as well. Personally I think a sports related board would be a great idea and who cares if people can name the starting line-up. If they like sports, join the discussion.

Didn't ESPN (owned by Disney) just pay the NFL billions of dollars to show their football games? How about the Funai Classic held a different Disney golf course each year? Or the WDW Marathon? And who didn't grow up learning how to ski or fish or lift weights with Goofy? Disney and sports have a long tradition together!!! I, and apparently some others, would like to see that tradition kept alive here on The Dis!

Just gave my opinon. Fine, I agree, it will be great to have all the "go (my team)" posts in one place. Just like it would be great if all the games were in one place.
