Why not a Retro Night?

I have been thinking lately. Which I've been told can get me in trouble. However it's occurred to myself that with special events like MNSSHP, MVMCP, the failed Disney After Hours, the early morning hours events and other various events that pop up now and then that why has there not been or even attempted a Disney Retro night or nights at the MK. I think there would be plenty of fans interested in going to an event that had classic characters that are not used very often anymore, if at all, in meet and greets, parades and shows. I've been looking at old films and clearly see so many characters that used to be commonplace that never see the light of day anymore. Why not? There's got to be a market for it and with all the money grabs one would think this would go well. It could be a whole new marketing ploy and bring back interest to old Disney films and series that just don't get viewed as much with the younger generations.

They should go truly retro and have characters just walking around and interacting with guests. Sadly, they would probably get mobbed now.

They could always charge $149 for 3 hours and only sell tickets to 3000 people. Oh, wait. They tried that already. ;)

Exactly. However they did it wrong with just the run of the park. If they added something like a retro night and did it for 4-5 hours and sold 15000 tickets then they are on to something.

I'd pay $149 for 4-5 hours with only 15000 people and the chance to run into Grumpy. :D

Pull out the Swan Boats, Mike Fink Keel Boats, cover up that silly Alladin spinner, and bring back Spectro Magic??
Perhaps afterwards hit the Comedy Warehouse and Adventurers Club for a night cap???

I'm in!!!!!!

People could dress up like their favorite decade. Give every guest a book of A-E tickets and have ticket takers at the attraction entrances. Although a lot of people would probably want to keep the tickets as souvenirs.

Retro night maybe should have the original FastPass make a comeback just for one night.
