Why no PINs for Jan-March?

I know they released the 4/3 deal for Jan - March, but it wasn't a PIN, but a general public code. Isn't it kind of weird that they are already releasing PINs for April - June, but not for the Jan-March timeframe? I wonder if they will release codes for Jan-Mar later, based on how many book the 4/3, and maybe not offer the 4/3 if they can get enough rooms filled with PIN holders for April-June? I've booked 4/3 for my 5 night stay in Feb, but sure would like a different deal. I got the pin for April, but it does me no good. Any speculation?

You can take this with a grain of salt. (I did)

I emailed Disney and asked why AP rates were not released prior to these new promotions. Normally AP rates always come out first. I got a call Thursday night and talked to a guest relations CM about my email. "He said that they decided to stagger the discount releases this year. He said normally all of the discounts come out for the same timeframe and they have to deal with alot of folks not happy to be able to use them, so they are trying something new by staggering the timeframes of releases." (whatever)

He assured me that we would see some AP releases, but that was all he said. His call didn't make me feel any better about still sitting here waiting for a AP release for January. He did say he would forward my email to the passholder office.

Last year they released "room only" codes for Jan-March in early December. So I wouldn't give up hope yet.
And AP rates were released at the end of October.

There was a PIN code for last Jan, and it was released in January (actually January 5th, which didn't give us alot of time to prepare.) This is from my original email for LAST YEAR!

They have always staggered discounts. I just don't see why they are leaving AP holders out while offering 4/3 (now on tv as well) to the general public. If they limit AP rooms a lot because they offer GP rooms first, I will be rethinking getting AP's for the first time in 20 yrs.
