Why no late MK dining Ressies?

I called to make dining ressie for our Feb. trip. Though the MK hours are not out yet, I am working with last years and assume a 9pm park closing and an e-night to 12.

They told me both LTT and CP stop dinner seating at 5:45pm. The seems really early. Does anyone know why or if there is something special going on in MK during Pres. Week. (I find it strange hours are posted for all parks but MK, it has me wondering!)

That does seem odd.....

Wonder if it is just the have not planned hours past 7pm or something like that angle....

Since the hours haven't been officially announceed, they probably work with a closing time of 7pm. Dining can't assume past hours and book PS. What if the E-night day changes and you have all those people booked for late PS when the park isn't even open?

My guess is that when you see official MK hours, then you will see later PS times available.

I was wondering the same thing. I made ressies at CRT for dinner on our last night there, hoping to catch some fireworks, and the latest I could get was 5:45. I'm already going there for breakfast, so if MK isn't open late that night, I think I'll make ressies somewhere else.

This happened to me at the 90 day mark for our trip for 12/27-1/02/04. I knew the parks were open late that whole week, yet the last time for MK castle dinner was 5:45pm according to Disney Dining. I politely hung up and called the next day and all was well. They now had the hours posted and I had my choice of late dinner reservations, even for 12/31! It was a bit inconvenient and if you didn't know the ropes, you would asume that they were right. Glad I called back.
