Why no Jacque or Gus?

My 2 yr old is obsessed with the movie "Cinderella" and walks around talking about Jacque and Gus Gus. Me and DH were just talking about it, why is there no characters at WDW for them? I know they have Suzy and Perla, but you would think they would have the 2 boy mice since they are a huge part of the movie!

Not big sized but for fun ... see if they let you into the "waiting area" of CRT (the castle restaurant). If you look up in the rafters on the perimeter of the room, you will see Jacque and Gus (little characters - not painted).

They are to your right (on a ledge) about 12-15 feet up as you walk straight into the room.

Jaq and Gus actually do appear in SpectroMagic at WDW (and in Disney's Electrical Parade at Disney's California Advenuture) but have not been seen doing meet-and-greets in quite a while. I wish they did meet-and-greets, but from what I've been told, there are legitimate reasons they aren't out.

I think that the character manager people think that no one wants to see them along with alot of other characters that could be out. Probably because they think there's no demand for them. I would love to see them out maybe by the castle. I think they are in Spectro Magic. Maybe if everyone went to guest relations each time they were at the park and asked for them, they would see that there are character fans that want to see some other characters than all the normal ones you see all the time. I like Mickey & Minnie, but do they have to be everywhere???? Character hunting is getting to be very boring at WDW!!!

I so agree!! A couple of my recent trips were getting quite boring while character hunting! I wish some more variety would get out there, as character hunting seemed better a couple of years ago.

they danced in the Rose Bowl Parade out in Pasadena with the Disneyland Float. That was a long parade and it rained about the whole time. I understand what you are saying but there are ways around it and they have been out on set in the past.

I wont post it but the truth is they should be redesigned.......and on the topic of redesigns be on the lookout for Mr Smee...he got a facelift and has Lilo feet...this happened awhile ago but his "new" self hasn't been out yet. If you want to see certain characters out go to guest relations and have them call the C.H.I.P. hotline...even though the character isn't appearing it can show that there is someone who wants to see them. Write down a few characters and ask. I can't say that you would see them in the following months, but it's possible. I think we may get a kitty cat that has been appearing at Tokyo Disneyland. She is white and has a big pink bow.

Marie from the Aristocats? I know she's been appearing at Tokyo and Hong Kong for a while. It would be great to see her doing meet-and-greets at WDW.

I wanna know about why Gus and Jaq aren't allowed to be in the parks!!! They are my favorite characters!!!! PM me...anyone....I want to know WHY!!!!!! Thats sooo sad.
