Why no deals 8/9-8/15?

I am so frustrated. The only weekend we can go is 8/14-8/17. Why are there no deals for these days? I am a passholder so I guess I can wait to see if those deals come out.

Could it be because those are the last few days of the "Buy 4, Get 3 Free" deal?

I think they are going to have a room only code for the fall starting 8/9- october. I'm guess they would wait until FD offer expires at the end of June.

We're going 8/8 thru 8/15 and that is the tail end of the Buy 4, Get 3. We were able to book in time to get that promotion. The next day starts FD. Maybe there will be a room only code.

I cannot tell you how badly I want a room only code for those dates! Our dates are 8/10-8/20 and neither a 4/3 or FD code fit well into that timeframe so all we have is a AAA room rate. I think I picked the worst week of the whole summer code-wise.

I'm hoping that a room only code will be released sometime this month, though it worries me that resorts are already full due to 4/3 and FD so I'm not sure if an August room-only code will come our way this year for those of us stuck in the Mid-August weeks.

I got tire of waiting for Disney to offer an AP rate for August 15 so booked with Universal instead. As a Universal passholder they offered me Hard Rock for about 40% off. We'll move to our DVC room at the BCV on Sunday night after two days at Universal now.

I think it'll be busy because of the other codes and because it's right before many kids go back to school.

I hope that a good room only code will come our way! Historically, the room only codes for August have been offered at the end of June so maybe we have only a few more weeks to wait and see if we get a code.

Yep, last couple years, RO rates for Aug-Sep came out around 18th-20th of June.

The booking period for free dining was extended. I hope this doesn't hurt our chances of getting a good room only code for mid-August. I'm not sure if Disney will offer the FD extention with a new room only code or not.

I got a pin code for discounted rooms 08/09-10/01 up to 42% off, but now idk if I can use this pin code and book Disney Dining as a AP holder? It comes out way cheaper that way than doing the FD deal, so I have my fingers crossed that it is allowed!

I even tried switching the dates a little and playing with room only vs. free dining. I'm wondering if they got a really good response to free dining that week b/c it is "earlier" than years past ... maybe a lot of people aren't quite back to school yet?

I think, if AP rates come out for that timeframe, they will probably be Saratoga Springs and some other Deluxe resorts. Hopefully, I'm wrong b/c I'd really like to see a $89 at a moderate or something.

I checked similar dates for a 3 or 4 night trip and only deluxe is available. I would even pay full price for free dinine if I could get a value or moderate but no luck.

I just checked the website and POR and CBR are available for free dining for 8/16-8/20, but only deluxes are available for the rest of that week.

We're booked at the Poly for 8/16-8/20 for free dining, but I'm looking for a discount for 8/14-8/15. Hopefully, there will be something soon (an AP discount would be nice).

There is a room-only discount for Disney Visa cardholders for 8/9-8/18 and 8/22-10/3. Code is EQT. It's on the Disney Visa website under offers.

I also saw that it was removed earlier today. I think we will see the next round of discounts coming soon. My guess is that AP rates will be released this Wednesday. I did change to the visa offer today while I wait for an AP room discount.
