Just got back from a quick 4 day trip to the world and one of the saddest thing this trip was we looked all over and only found a few this that were Coco related. My wife and I love the movie and with all the awards it has been getting I really thought there would be more then one little cart in Mexico. Sad just sad.

Did you see the displays inside the Mexico Pavilion? We were just there 2 weeks ago, and my kids loved the windows where the Coco characters would appear/disappear, as well as all of the Dia de los Muertos displays.

Or were you referring specifically to merchandise?

Lots or rumors of Coco replacing the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros, which kind of makes sense since only 1/3 of the 3 is actually from Mexico. Panchito is Mexican, Jose Carioca is Brazilian and Donald is American. I wouldn't be surprised to see the ride revamped for Coco. I think they could keep the basic boat ride the same. If this does eventually happen, I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't announced until some of the other EC projects are ready or almost ready.

Agreed. Love Coco. I would love to see him incorporated into existing attractions (Mexico Pavillion/ ride). There's no reason that the 3 Caballeros and Coco characters cannot peacefully co-exist.

I don't think Disney has done a good job in the past of predicting movie success and park/product demand. I think it was once told to me as "The Pocahontas Effect" ......... where the produced tons of merchandise and infused her (AK Show, Fantasmic storyline ...) and it was a bust. The merchandise didn't sell. So now they are slow to react. Look how long it took to get and keep Frozen merchandise in stock. Not only were they not prepared for a basic success, they were not prepared for a huge success.

The fact that they ran that Olaf "short" in front of the movie says they were worried about it's success, and they were hoping to draw in the Frozen families. Since it probably was never in plans for park additions and we are only a few months out .... there certainly hasn't been enough "Disney time" to figure it out.

I agree that it could big a huge plus in the parks and wish they would pay more attention to it. If I had seen things, I would likely have bought plenty since I could get my AP 20% discount. Instead my trip two weeks ago - the entire trip I spent $20 for an Arts Festival mug. That was it, 4 parks multiple times, they got no other merchandise money from me.

The Coco Mariachi band was great. Not sure if their still there performing

As someone else posted, the Mexico pavilion had/has a great Coco set up.

And I heard it was rumored they were going to add some Coco references toward the end of the 3 Caballeros ride

I remember seeing the window displays in the Mexico pavilion, and I got a Hector plush in DHS -- actually ended up really glad I bought him when I saw him because I never saw any more Coco merch after that point. They also had some Coco plushes on the ship (the Magic, if it mattters).

I would love to see a Coco ride. a mix between soarin and FOP would be awesome!

Not performing anymore.

Mexico still has the Coco themed stuff in the pavilion.
