Just curious ...

I have read several times some members saying that they will try booking the restaurant they want, at 45 days of ADR. Why 45 days ? what difference does it make it, if you try a day, 10 days or 45 days from now ?

I think I've read a few places because the final payment is due 45 days before the start of the trip and if anyone has cancelled their trip, those associated ADR day/times would then also free up.

Of course they only "free up" then if someone cancelling their trip also goes to the extra trouble of cancelling their ADRs.

The 45 day trick has worked for me. I think the new ADR system links your ADR with your reservation if you are staying on property. There are conflicting reports as to whether your ADRs will drop off if you cancel your accomodation reservations.
