Why LTT?

I see that many of you have PS at LTT for MNSSHP or MVMCP. Why? Is there something special about the location or the restaurant itself?

If you can get an early PS time (say between 5:00 & 6:00), you can finish dinner and will not have to leave the park before the party so you will beat the crowds. It's nice to walk around the park with almost nobody else there.

The reason is that it's the only PS being offered right now for MNSSHP and MVMCP SO early!! Usually you'd have to wait 60 days out to be able to make this PS.

At 60 days you can book other restaurants like Crystal Palace.

We did LTT before MNSSHP and MVMCP last year because (1) we really enjoy the food there; (2) the characters add touches to their outfits for the holidays; and (3) it's nice to enjoy a good meal as the park is closing to guests and preparing for the evening's festivities. I highly recommend LTT for a great start to either party.

I just booked LTT for October 3. The CM told me that when we finish our dinner a CM will escort us out of the park. She said we'll have to wait until 7:00 to get back in.

I don't know how true this is, but I think DS and I are going to have a long, dinner that night. (our PS is for 5:10)

She also said the park will close at 6:00 that night.

She read all of this to me, and several other things, while she was making the PS.

NOT TRUE!

You should end just in time to get your photo taken right outside!

TRUE

Last year they herded everyone with wristbands (for MVMCP) that weren't at LTT over into Tomorrowland. Attractions there continued to operate between 6:00 and 7:00, then the rest of the park re-opened. We did not have to leave the park.

I am going to move this post over to the Restaurants Board where you will get lots of helpful advice about how special LTT is! :)

It is convenient to eat at LTT because you will already be in the park when the festivities begin. The kids also enjoy the characters. We aren't fond of the food, though, so we usually opt to eat at 'Ohana and take the monorail to the park for the parties.
