first of all, i have nothing against any moderator and appreciate the way they keep these boards safe for any age group....however.....some of the moderators on other boards seem intent on sucking the fun out of those boards..........with stickys.... saying that the sticky is the only place you can discuss the subject....and then saying that you cannot debate the subject.............HELLO..........taking the subjects out of the general poplulation kills the spontaneity and outlawing debate is just wrong. posts about mugs and pools and such can be very entertaining. there are new people all the time who want to ask those questions. the only reason to try and control or eliminate them is because they are old hat to some and they are tired of seeing them...... agreed, sometimes it gets a little nasty, but hey, thats what the mod signs on for isnt it? to take a line from Watchmen......... who moderates the moderators.

They may be entertaining, but we typically do that with topics that frequently get heated.

"Entertaining" doesn't always mean a topic has value to the visitors looking for information on a subject, and fighting on the boards alienates visitors.

How many refillable mug wars do we really need?

I know this Webmaster that is getting ready to get alpacas and move to Greenacres.

Personally, I rather avoid the refillable mug altogether and use a Thermos. They hold more anyway. :)

Wait, are we talking about hot or cold drinks? Hydroflask for cold; Thermos for hot. That's my motto.

Now I have a hankering for coffee cake and hot tea. Lol

Just kidding...all in good, silly fun. ;)

Hydroflask Keeps hot beverages hot too... Thermos is soooo 1980's But i bet you still have a Tinkerbell one Nikki!!

I thought the Hydro was only for cold?

BTW, if you're talking about my new hot pink Jem Thermos, don't be hatin' on it!

I'm starting to wonder!

Now he's sending me links so I can learn about them... does he think I'm going to be an alpaca farmer, too? Wouldn't that involve things like mucking the stables? I don't think so...

Look, I just want to know if the refillable mug I bought in 1998 will still work on my next trip even though I am stying off site and plan on pool hopping from resort to resort. I deserve it after all. Oh, and does anyone want to give me Southwest airline vouchers and unused dining credits for my trip.

:goodvibes

There is good money to be made in Alpaca Poop. Christy just bought 3 bags of the stuff and it was not cheap.

Ewwwwwwwwwww! :lmao:

Frank, if you want, I can sell you a "Golden Fast Pass" for $50. ;)

Fridge swap? I know there's one for Pop. Maybe we should set it up for Teresa. :rotfl2:

Correction! She did not BAN me! She merely let her finger slip by accident on my name...and Don's. ;)

Well, not Horizons, but definitely World of Motion and into Adventurer's Club! :thumbsup2
