Why isn't Le Cellier in the system for 180 days out?

My 180 day mark was 5 days ago. I got up that morning about 8:00 (yes, I was running late) and was able to get all my ADR's except for Le Cellier. I tried it for every day of our trip, and there was nothing not even 9 pm or 3 pm. I tried for different size groups, and nothing. After a couple days of this, I contacted my travel agent who called Disney who said that the Le Cellier reservation slots hadn't been loaded in the system yet. Is this normal? Do they usually load them later than 180 days? It is getting really annoying. I try every day but still nothing. When should I expect them to be ready?

Thanks for posting this. I was having the same problem last week and I thought I was crazy!

From what i remember reading in the frommers guide.... Le cellier has different reservation "days ahead" structure. I dont have the book on me right now, and i cant find the info online.

But thats what i remember... however my memory could be tricking me.

this has actually been going on since the transitition to a "signature" lunch was announced.

We had the same problem few months ago when making our ADR's....... Ended up being about 12 days or so after our 180+10 mark that Le Cellier times finally became available. We just kept checking daily until times were available...

Does anyone know what's actually going on here? I've been trying to book Le Cellier for any evening from 18 Feb - 24 Feb 2013, which should have been available to book about a month ago by Disney's advertised 180 days schedule.

However it has been coming up as nothing at all available for any of those dates (lunch or dinner in fact). I thought I'd just missed out (as it was actually about 178 days that I started checking - oops - and knowing how busy that place is) but I now believe that no availability has been released at all. In the past, Le Cellier was always released along with all the other restaursants on that 180 day mark.

Any ideas how I find out for sure? Don't want them to suddenly release the dates and then I miss out because I wasn't aware or assumed it was already sold out. Or I wonder if there is some event going on, or scheduled work that might be planned?

The dates have not been loaded. They are not fully booked. There have been many, many reports of this starting with meals on Jan 1 and there have only been 1 or 2 reports of people actually getting in (which is likely due to some glitch in the system more than tables being loaded, or they forgot the change the date). You can call, but they're going to tell you one of two things, depending on who you get. If you get a good one, they'll tell you that they haven't been loaded, if you get a bad one, they'll tell you LC is fully booked.

When LC went to 2TS for dinner, the same thing happened with dinner reservations. There simply weren't any tables loaded after 3:00pm or so. While this time, it's a bit different with no tables at all, it's not really that surprising.

As for why? We don't know. It could be that it's actually closing for work (though, it'd be silly to close down on Jan 1, since it's expected to stay busy until the end of the first week of Jan), or they could still be hashing out the details. For example, they could be deciding to keep or remove tables, adjust the average allotment of time per table, or alter the menu such that the average turnaround time per table changes. All of those will have a direct effect on the number of and times that tables are available.

I went to check ADRs for a possible First week of March trip and wondered too what was going on with Le Cellier not showing any availability for the 1st to the 5th this am

Well if anyone happens to find any Le Cellier availability for mid-February (Presidents Week), please remember this thread and let us subscribers know. Thanks!

Andre

Still waiting for the last week of January to open up ADRs.....:rolleyes1

Oh, I am so relieved! I've been gnashing my teeth and fretting because I was unable to get an ADR for LC for late February and kicking myself for not being more on the ball and getting it done as soon as the first possible day came along, and now to find out that it's because they haven't started taking reservations for those dates yet! Whew!

I hope for all our sakes that they open up their books soon and that we all get the times we want!

I'm also trying for that last week in February. Is there any way of knowing when they will become available, or do I just need to try every day?

Waiting on first week of March too. This happened to me when they moved to Signature Dining as well in 2011.

I was able to book for a party of 7 on January 9th a few weeks ago, there was nothing available at lunchtime though.

I'm trying for end of Feb too. I remember this happening when I wen to book my reservations for this month too (so back in March when I was booking I guess). Lunch wasn't loaded in the system yet. I was able to get dinner tho. And about a week later I was able to get lunch. Hope it opens up soon. I don't remember to check everyday!

I was having the same problem and was very frustrated! I'm tellin' ya, I'm so glad for Disboards because now I don't feel alone in my misery!

So glad I checked here to see what was going on!

As an FYI, not only was Le Cellier not loaded in the system for mid-March when I checked today, neither was O'hana...

Fantasmic packages aren't in for March either.

This really annoys me and it's a waste of my time and the CM on the phones.
