Eh. I've had my chart misplaced, prescriptions not called in, prescriptions lost, etc.
Chart misplaced usually means that it just hadnt been filed yet (either after a phone call, test result, etc). 4 of my doctors are on a hospital based electronic chart system, the other 4 are still using regular charts
Prescriptions not called in usually means that teh doctor did not give it to their assistant to call in or put in a pile and not gotten to yet or simply mispalced. I usually give it until the next day and than call them and my doctors are more than happy to rewrite it.
Prescriptions lost can be the same thing. Lost by teh doctor, by their assistant, front desk, etc.
There are so many possibilities to what could happy that I really dont have the energy to get annoyed unless it is a recurring thing. I have 8 doctors. Every single one of them would reqrite a lost or mispalced prescription with no problem. I go wiht, you know what, the front desk and office assistants, as wlel as the doctors are human as well. If they misplace a prescription every once in a while so be it.
