I agree that location (a Magic Kingdom resort, with direct transportation via boat) is the most likely reason. The AKL is bus only. It's gorgeous, though, and I have heard raves about club level there. When my youngest is old enough top handle bus rides after a long park night, we will definitely want to try it.
The WL Concierge does have its own "lounge" now (it was renovated a couple years ago and no longer is located about the railings). There are pics of it in the WL Info thread as well as the allearsnet site.
We have not stayed at the WL since the renovation, as our youngest child is now too old for five of us to fit in a regular concierge room. It is less $ to stay at concierge level at a monorail resort because they sleep five people. We do miss the WL. It's our favorite even over the Poly! Hopefully, we will get back there in the next couple years now that the Junior Suite gets concierge privileges. The food is my husband's favorite-- he loves all the hearty soups/stews and of course, who doesn't love the awesome berry cobbler?!
Good luck planning!
