Why is the Unicorn Goddess Barbie so expensive?

I'm NOT talking about the Barbie Dreamtopia unicorns. I'm talking about the Unicorn Goddess Barbie. The Barbie is the Unicorn, and almost everywhere I've checked they're over $300!! Is it made with gold? I'm the secret Santa this year for a 6 year old who loves unicorns. Too bad I can't get her this.

She is over a year old and a collector Barbie. Collector Barbies are always very pricey.

WOW! She is gorgeous , my granddaughter would love her and destroy her in a week, LOL
So this won't be under the tree this year.

It’s a collector Barbie doll. Small number made and a larger price tag. Since it’s no longer made, sellers increase the price. She’s pretty, but like everyone else not loving it enough to pay that premium.

Even at the original cost of $75, I wouldn’t give it to a child to play with. Lol, I’m cheap though.

All I can think of is The Office episode where Dwight is selling unicorn Barbies for crazy prices to parents shopping at the last minute. "My horn can touch the sky....."
