It has been mentioned several times to bring a camera to the lifeboat drill.

As always - THANKS!!

For us it was seeing us all in those huge life preservers!

A sea of orange blockheads! LOL!!

You knew you were really on a cruise, that's for sure!

We don't take our camera to the drill but we do take pictures in our room before the drill. I love to see the kids from year to year with their orange vests.LOL

You can never have too many pictures of so many people for whom orange is NOT a good color--myself included.

YIKES!

Good morning clh2.

Why is the lifeboat drill a good photo-op?

Possibly because you can squeeze 177 faces into a 4-face frame, with little effort you can lose your MIL and everyone looks like they swallowed a Green Bay Packers fan...

Many years ago when I used to sail on another line (the now gone Sitmar cruises) they would have the photographers at the drill to take pictures. The drills were much more casual then. They didn't happen until after we sailed and they were usually all inside in the lounges and such.

We usually take one or two pictures in the room for comic value.

Ok, now I'm not feeling so silly that we stuck the camera at arm's length in front of us in our life vests for a photo op!
