Why is the Info different in my MDE on the computer vs the App?

A couple months ago I purchased points for a stay at SS in December through Davids Dvc site. I reserved 2 studios and paid for both. One studio was for my daughter and her husband, the other for my husband and I. Everything is copasetic on my rental agreement but the computer it says the ressi was made by my SIL whereas the app it says the reservation was made by me. On both the computer and the app they have my SIL occupying both rooms (on the same dates) and I have disappeared form the reservation. I need to get this straightened out before the 60 day window so that I can book fast passes. Has anyone had a similar problem?

You will need to contact David's DVC to correct the problem. They will need to have the owner of the DVC points being used to contact Disney to straighten out the issue. When using DVC points, Disney will not speak to anyone but the actual DVC member regardless of who's name is on the reservation.

On a side note, I am having a similar issue with differences between what the computer based MDE and the MDE app says. I have purchased 2 - 7 Day Park hoppers and they appear on the computer side. However, on the MDE app it shows 2 - 7 Day Park Hoppers and 1 - 5 Day Park Hopper for each of use for a total of 6 different tickets. I have contacted Disney and they say they are only showing the original 7 Day Park Hopper ticket for each of us on their end. I was told to uninstall the app from my phone then re-install it which should correct this issue. I did that, but it did not fix it.

BTW, Have you ever stayed at SSR? I have stayed there 3 times and loved it each time. I have rented points each time through private transactions with DVC members vs using David's DVC, although I have heard great things about them. SSR is a very quiet, laid back resort. Don't expect a lot of over the top Disney theming, expect more subtle Disney touches and more relaxed atmosphere.

Davids DVC said that when they look at the Disney side the ressi is correct and that it's an IT error. I was told that sometimes the issue revolves itself closer to the check in date, but that I would need to contact Disney's IT department if the correction did not occur.

I have stayed at SS twice before and will be at the Poly (our favorite) in September 2014 (crazy I know with the construction). I booked the Poly thru Orbiz and have had no issues thus far with MDE. So looking forward to both trips!!

Well I hope everything gets fixed before you get there and have any problems. I have never stayed at the Poly but I have always heard great things about it. I'm indifferent to the construction, especially the re imagining of the lobby, since I have no personal connection to the way it was before. I have always been hesitant about staying in any of the deluxe resorts. The cost obviously is a big factor, but transportation is a big concern for me as well. It seems that the bus service from those deluxe resorts is underwhelming. The buses are shared by several resorts and seem to be very slow. I have eaten at many of the restaurants at the deluxe resorts and have had some experience with their buses. I understand the Monorail is a big draw for many on the monorail loop just as the boat service is a big draw for guests staying at the Epcot area resorts. However, you have to use a bus to get anywhere else on property and the Deluxe resorts just don't have good bus service. If I am paying that much for a room, I should get the best service and they should be using dedicated buses vs shared buses.
