Why is the Epcot Monorail closed?

So I checked this morning and the app makes it appear that it is still not up and running. Have we had any confirmation one way or the other today?

It doesn't open until one hour prior to Epcot opening, so 10AM.

Can confirm that Epcot monorail was open on Sunday, July 19th. Rode monorail blue to and from the TTC and also observed monorail silver running on the Epcot line.

Do people getting off the Epcot Monorail have to go through security (second time) to enter Epcot or has that been "corrected". Was told years ago that the double security check for those taking monorail from monorail resorts to Epcot would be eliminated. It used to be one checkpoint at resort monorail entrance, one checkpoint at Epcot gate. - Wondering if that has been taken care of.

We’ll, I’m here now and it may have been open yesterday, but it’s not open now. I walked all the way from the VGF to TTC to find it closed, and it’s still closed

I wish it had been corrected for those of us who hd to take a bus because the monorail was down. After all the off and on about the monorail, then the bus from TTC, we'd already gone through security at TTC, but then again at Epcot. In reality, the Epcot security didn't know who had already gone through security, but it was just one more thing to make us all grumble. Boy, one bus full of very unhappy campers!
