Why is the castaway club parties on the magic outside.

I have been on the wonder 6 times. on every time i go to a castaway club party inside. i am goin on a 4 night cruise on the magic in december. will they have outside castaway club parties on it?

I think it really depends on the # of repeat cruisers. I would imagine the Wonder usually has fewer repeat cruisers than the Magic so they can hold it inside.

I was on the 4-night Wonder cruise on 8/20 and the Castaway Club event was held in Wavebands at 1PM on our day at sea. They provided sodas, coffee, tea and some snacks (set up just outside Wavebands) and the event was an interactive event where you were given a game card that had questions. You needed to walk around and talk with fellow cruisers and the crew in order to find the answers. You could then place a part of that card in a box where they than drew 10 names to win a clock. I didn't win a clock put everyone walked away with a pen.

That was pretty much it!

We are Castaway Club members (Woo Hoo!) so how do we find out about the party onboard? Is it worth going to? Thanks for the info!

The CC receptions that I have been to on the Magic have been in Rockin' Bar D. I didn't get to the CC party last month during our cruise, but I heard we had nearly 1300 CC Members on that cruise.

You should either receive a CC Reception invitation in your cabin, or it will be attached to your fish mail holder outside your cabin door.

In 5 Castaway Club receptions, on the Magic, they have never been outside. Even last month we still went to Rockin' Bar D. Nice reception w/ free cocktails and appetizers. Don't miss it. Not REAL exciting, but worth going to.

On the June 24th Magic the CC reception was held by the adult pool.

On the 8/19 cruise it was held in Rockin Bar D and when that got filled up people were sent into diversions.
