Why Is Package "deal" More?

I priced our trip using the new code for room and free upgrade on park tickets and the price for this package is more in Regular Season than it was in Peak Season. + 47.32

And it's more than the AAA room only and 8-day PH (+117.27) that I have. I'm giving up the Water Parks and more upgrade but will we really use it much anyway?

I thought the offers for regular season should have been much better. Now the only thing to wait for is AP rates.

Are you looking at an AAA room and park tickets vs a package with room, tickets, and the dining plan? That's all I can think of - that the dining plan is included in one and not the other.

It could be that the package does not provide discounts on the room, you are paying rack rate. The AAA package discounts the rooms and probably the tickets as well.
