My mom just called from Disney & was wondering if anyone could answer this question. She's noticed some of the cabins have a black netting on them & some don't. Anyone know why?
She just had to tell me how beautiful the weather is down there.
Thanks:)

It is for the bats. When the netting is there, the bats can get out but not back in. Don't stand under the eaves at 2 a.m., lol.

I'm pretty sure it's to keep the peacocks out.

I know the answer it is to catch the bats!:scared1:

When was the last time you saw a gator in one of the cabins? I rest my case.

1) Cute answers.
2) But, there is a real purpose for the netting.
3) It truly keeps large critters out of the cabins.
4) They have had problems with
. . . 5' tall chipmunks
. . . 6' tall bears
. . . 4' tall mouses

actually the mouse is 5', munks are about 5'6", and bears are 6'... now ducks are 4'...

they just keep getting bigger all the time.

It's to keep these scary monsters out, of course...

Bradybz12..thanks for that hilarious pic:rotfl:I really needed a good laugh today.

Actually, we saw quite a few armadillos walking around the Fort while there..They are an amazing looking creature (but thank God they aren't any larger than they are!).

Once again, thanks for the laugh!
