Why is MK open until 11:00 on Dec. 3rd?

I know that the crowds are really going to pick up the weekend of Dec. 3rd. But I'm not sure why MK is open SO late that Saturday? It isn't evening EMH, is it? Is it because the Christmas parade is being filmed that day? Or are there just going to be mammoth crowds?

Okay, I just noticed that it is just about every Saturday in December. Would it be to make up for lost hours due to MVMCP?

I'm not aware of MK hours being any later then 9 or 10 on the first 2 Saturdays of Dec.

Oh great......there must be an expectation of high crowds......

you will see that in 2003 and 2004, the MK was open till 11 on the first Saturday of December.

Looks like it was every Sat in Dec. during 2004 as well. Also, Sat Dec. 17 this year MK is open until 12:00. I wonder if MVMCP keeps locals out of evenings, so they make up for it in droves on Saturdays?

Oh good. I'm glad to hear that because we were there the first week in Dec 2003 and the crowds for the week were low.

Except for Saturday at the MK.....

The parade filming is that day. So not to incovience the guest they usually stay open later that night. And its usually 11pm. So that is just staying along with tradition.

Can't please all the people all the time, but you can please all of them some of the time
