will wake up at 6:00am on the weekends, but on school days I have to drag them out of bed at 7:00?

tell me about it............my 15 yr old DS wakes up at some crazy hour of a weekend, but school days he doesn't get up nearly so early.

Oh well, I have gotten 2 loads of laundry done, and have already mopped the kitchen. Now, I have more time to DIS today!;)

wow bummer. Yesterday the entire family woke up at 9:30. Last night we were out till 1am, so it'll be interesting to see what time everyone is up. I'm feeding the baby now at 6am. I know he'll go back to sleep, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to.

I have the same problem which is why I am DISing right now. Yesterday, she slept in until 7; not so lucky today. And of course DH is out of town, so we couldn't even swap out this weekend.

Probably for the same reason I can hardly drag myself out of bed at 4:30 am on weekdays, but am up no problem by about 5:30-6:00 on weekends, because I feel like I'm wasting the day if I sleep later! It's because I'm going to do what I want to do, not what I have to do! LOL;) I guess that starts at a young age too!:D

Always! LOL! And I remember being the same way as a kid. Weekends were too good to waste sleeping! DS has been getting up 8ish...me too. But today it was almost 9 for him. I try to tip toe around to have a bit of time for myself. :)

It is their diabolical plot to rule the world.pirate:
