Why is Hollywood Studios Counter / Quick Service so Mediocre?

Always wondered this...and now it looks like the new Muppet place is just a cosmetic makeover with the same awful pizzas as well

The other parks all have at least a couple of decent QS options, how difficult can it be for HS to have one?

Or am I missing a hidden gem???

How can you possibly, fairly, judge the quality of food at a restaurant that is not even open yet?
Amazing

Personally, we find the CS at the Studios no better or worse than the other parks. We ate at Rosie's on Sunset last week and had a perfectly acceptable for a theme park fried green tomato sandwich .
We've never understood all the whining about the Studio's CS offerings.

I agree. I have had good meals at QS places in all parks as well as bad depending on what I have ordered.

That's why I said "looks like". The fact that the menu is the exact same as it was doesn't bode well, but we'll see.

I hope for more than "perfectly acceptable for theme park" food. Maybe that's unreasonable of me.

I agree. If the pizza is the same awful pizzas they sold before then we won't be frequenting Rizzo's I'm afraid.

Totally Agree!
Although if Starring Rolls is open (which seems to have more limited hours then ever) They have fantastic turkey sandwiches and Butterfinger cupcakes for lunch.
Dinner is a disaster and every time we are there during the dinner hour I leave starving and sad....

I have had only one truly bad CS at DHS and that was ABC Commisary. I think we had studio catering last year a and it was just fine.

Interesting.. I personally LOVE ABC Commissary. Maybe it's because they always have cute and delicious cupcakes and I'm a cupcake gal.
I think AK's CS is rough- but it's mainly because I don't really eat meat and am verrrrrrrrrry picky. Yak and Yeti has amazing fries though

I would agree on Starring Rolls. If they would expand to add indoor seating & stay open later, we'd always eat lunch there. Unfortunately, we're very laid back tourists & usually have all of our meals later than most do, so it rarely works for us.

Man I had one of the best burgers at Rosie's all american cafe! We usually book a TS lunch just because I love some of their restaurants so much.

I do not found DHS CS meals to be horrible. I liek the Backlot Express, have had decent food at ROsies, and like the pulled pork Mac and Cheese at Bill and Mim's.

In general, MK and Epcot have great CS options for vegetarians, and DHS and ironically, AK have terrible, options. I wish the the good stuff was a little more evenly distributed.

Yeah, for some reason, HS quick service seems to just be lacking for the most part. I was there last night and was looking through the menus to find something appealing. Nothing really struck me except the capers sandwich at Backlot but I never made it there. The table service options are mostly good with fantastic theming. I've tried all of them.

We usually do TS but have eater at Backlot and ABC and enjoyed both. We particularly enjoyed the burger with shrimp at ABC. Maybe we've been lucky as I know a lot of people can't stand the place.

Backlot is the only QS my family likes at HS. I do find choices there very limited.
