I just purchased this piece and am now noticing that the spelling of Disney is wrong. "Disey". The seller had said it was about 35 years old. I am trying to research actual age and maker? Could this just be an error or is this not a Disney piece? It is bisque and measures about 7 1/4" wide X 6 1/2" tall. Does anyone know anything about this piece?
I am unable to post images, is there a way I can post a link?

I will try to describe it. It is bisque porcelain. Depicts marching band with Mickey as leader, donald on teumpet and goofey large drum. The base is marked Walt "Disey" Productions' with a japan sticker. I have pictures but am unable to post as I am a new member. Hope this helps. I can e-mail pictures if anyone thinks they could help. Thanks

Some items that were made in Japan have misspellings on them.

We own a pre-EPCOT opening Figment plush and Disney is spelled "Dinsey". I know it was not a bootleg item. The person who gave it to us was a Cast Member who was working on the park.
