Why is Daisy being 'Dissed?

Sorry, but I am not upset about this. :( I don't like Daisy!!

bytheblood;16096456,

Then WHY did you respond? :confused3 :confused3 I don't like some of the princesses but I don't disrespect the OP who starts the thread. Why would you feel the need?

Every since I was little I've always liked Daisy. Mickey & Minnie are a couple and get all kind of love from the masses. Donald, when I was younger could be VERY annoying. Goofy is-need I say more. Daisy was sweet, kind and low key.

I've always liked the background people. Girls had posters of Michael or Jermaine Jackson, I liked Marlon & Tito. :)

Everyone loves Orlando Bloom, I love Josh Lucas.

Why are you so defensive I might ask in return? :confused3

It is not disrepectful to have a different opinon...well, perhaps to you it is? Maybe Daisy is not popular because others have the same feelings about her that I do. Not trying to sound redundant, but the threat title is "Why is Daisy being Dissed"...reason may be because not lot of people like her, therefore do not request her for autographs and other appearances.

Do you also feel that if somebody posts a thread titled "I was disappointed in Expedition Everest", people who like it are disrepectful for saying they did in that same thread? Just a thought!

Sorry you took offense, but maybe you should lighten up a little. Nothing harmful was meant by my 'disrespectful' opinon!!! :) ;)

Huge Daisy fan, have two shelfs full of daisy stuff. I have found her at MK in Toontown fair this past summer and at Soccer's Hat in MGM. Call the character hotline that might help you out.

Daisy is the only character my niece wants an autograph from that we haven't been able to find. We hope to find her in just a few days as we leave on New Years Day!!

We saw Daisy and Donald signing autographs at MGM on December 17th - it was in the morning near the big hat :goodvibes

My family loves Daisy.
This past Aug. we were at Toontown for the opening and when all the little girls ran to Minnie my DD ran to Daisy and gave her a big hug. Daisy took her by the hand with another girl and Minnie took 2 girls and they led the tour of Minnie's house. Daisy never let go of DD's hand and walked her all the way to her photo area where DD got her picture taken with her. It was great.

My daughter is a huge Daisy fan and we hardly saw her on our trips in November and last week. We asked many people in Guest Relations about her and they all had a cavalier attitude which annoyed us. A super nice CM at Chef Mickey's helped us last week though and called someone and told us the specific times she'd be at MGM that day so we were able to snag a photo. Of course, my daughter didn't have her autograph book with her that day so I guess we'll be back on the quest on our next trip!

This is such a great thread! My 2.5 yo DD currently has a thing for Daisy. I think it has a lot to do with her favorite show, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

She had a duck fetish in general when she was around 1 yo, so naturally she was crazy about Donald last year. She has since switched over her obsession to Daisy. When we were at WDW in September, she was able to walk with Daisy to her place under the Sorcerer's Hat. Talk about the thrill of her vacation! When we were there a couple of weeks ago, I bought her a small Daisy plushie toy at the beginning of the trip and it was her constant companion. I did notice that Daisy is one of the characters who is on the train at the park opening show at MK now (not sure if she has always been part of the show, but we did notice her a couple of weeks ago).

On my recent trip, I only took my nephew to see two characters - Daisy and Chip and Dale. This was at the judges tent in Toontown Fair.

Truth be told, however, there were three lines. One was for princesses (by far the largest). The second was for mainstream characters (second longest). And a third line for loser characters (I forget the actual name they gave it). We got Daisy, Chip and Dale, and some ugly thing from Chicken Little that none of the kids wanted to meet or even knew who she was. We picked Daisy due to the short line 

We were there last week. (heavy sad sigh) and we saw her at the Christmas tree at the MK and she and Donald together at the hat in MGM. We were at both parks two different days and saw her both days at both parks.

Actually, Daisy had one main disser - Carl Barks, the genius behind the Donald Duck comic books, did not like her. He seldom used her, so she may never have really developed a separate personality. Minnie is her own character, Daisy is just "Donald Duck's girlfriend."

On the other hand, Barks loved his own characters, including Uncle Scrooge, who doesn't appear that often in the parks.

My little ones LOVE Daisy, we saw her last Oct in WDW on our LAST day - at the entrance to Main St, there was a line a MILE long to see her - we had to beeline away before they noticed, it was a tough choice, but we would never have made the line!

I know! The "Fab 5" doesn't unclude her. Pluto, but not Daisy? Start the "Fab 6" movement.

I support this! If we kicked Pluto out of the planets, we can kick him out of the Fab 5 too, right? We need some more chicks in the Fab 5! :cutie:
