thanks for all the advice. I think what I'll do is just take him there and we'll walk around and look. He'd love that (I hope).

Last question... Ive seen the park hours posted for MK, AK, etc., but does DTD also "close" at a certain time or are you free to wander around there until whenever?

DH & I went in July & just ordered a few apps, drinks, and desserts. You could always consider just doing icecream sundaes (reg dessert menu: http://allears.net/menu/menu_trex.htm / kids dessert menu: http://allears.net/menu/menu_trexkids.htm)- if you think you'll feel bad about it. All of the desserts on the reg menu are big enough to share- especially "Chocolate Extinction."

OK, I am answering my own question: Rainforest Cafe DOES NOT take the dp. I just cancelled and made a ressie for my hotel CSR at the Maya Grill (looks really good ) Seems like most of the restaurants at the parks kind of suck (not Epcot but AK really looks BAD! )
