Why I will never fly Jet Airways again

It's the time of year when many of us are taking our summer vacations. I don't know how many of you are going overseas but I thought it might be good to warn anyone against Jet Airways. We flew Toronto to Brussels and then Brussels airlines from Brussels to Stockholm last week. The flight there ws fine. It was night time and I slept through the whole thing. The way back was during the day and I was awake through the whole thing. The main thing that disgusted me was the bathroom. I know it's the passengers faults but it was beyond anything I've ever seen. The Brussels to Toronto flight would also be the second leg of the journey to Canada for people coming from India to Canada. It would seem in some cultures it's ok to wipe after having a bowel movement and throw your toilet paper on the floor. If the feces smears down the walls of the bathroom thats ok too apparantly. If it was just one person doing this I would think it was just one jerky person but I tried 3 different bathrooms on the plane and the amount of tissue on the floor made it clear there were numerous people doing this. Just something to consider when choosing a flight.

In many countries it is common to have a trash can next to the toilet for used t.p., which cannot be flushed because it will clog the pipes. Perhaps the trash cans were full? Did you notify a FA about the situation?

As confirmed by the Jet Airways ground staff at Kochi
Hence the subject 'do not fly jet airways to KOCHI' as opposed to an unqualified statement like 'do not fly jet airways'
Pls take in to consideration that there were a good 30 people who did not receive their luggage
that is not just an 'isolated mistake' but rather a 'planned chaos'
I considered it important that people are aware of this risk
If you would like to continue taking it, then by all means continue to do so...

I can tell you in some parts of India they don't even use toilet paper. when someone from my company goes over their on business, there is always a reminder to bring your own tp because one call center doesn't have any.

Now smearing it all over the walls is interesting and I would have let the FA know about it. That would be a health code violation!

This is what I thought of as well. They will generally have a trash can next to the toilet. Since there wasn't a trash can I think people were just putting the paper where the trash can should have been. They probably weren't aware that the toilet could handle flushing the T.P. since that's not something they are used to. I don't hold it against them as it's a cultural thing. If I went to India and started flushing TP I'd probably clog the toilet and get people mad at me. Just something to be aware of if chosing an airline.
