Why has there never been another Storm Along Bay ?

Disneyland Hotel pool has remodeled quite a few times past 20 years and I love what they've done with the Monorail slides ...if they had done a monorail themed lazy river, WOW that would have been best pool status, but Aulani has done a great job and I consider it #1, BC #2, would we give Poly #3? But yeah I think you nailed it that Disney hasn't made it a priority to have a resort where guests are marvelling at the pool area.

Cost, it is the most expensive pool to maintain and staff.

I think the new DVC "Reflections" was supposed to have a pretty nice pool area, possibly with a lazy river. But who knows when that will get going again...

Reflections was both a DVC resort and a hotel, not just solely DVC. I think that may be dead in the water for years to come if ever. I also think it takes a lot of guests (with money) to justify a SAB-type of pool.
