Why has the quote gone up?

I'm planning a 3 night trip to DLP on Nov 29th. I just put the info in to the DLP site again, as you do, to see what the price was.. and I swear that when I add transportation (Eurostar) it's gone up from the previous quote of £1100 approx (2A 2C) to £1400! Around £700 of which is for the Eurostar! Does anyone know why?! I think I will end up booking separately although I had been hoping for Disney Express - does anyone know how you can book this separately?

Also, what would you go for for a Nov/Dec trip and why? :) Kids will be 8 and v nearly 6

Sequoia Lodge Montana room in main building £716
SL in a lodge £638
Hotel N Y non lake view £768

MIL will be paying her share so that won't all be down to me!

I would always book Eurostar separately, last time we saved over £400 doing this!

You can then just ring up Disneyland Reservations to book the Disney Express Service.

Have you tried disneyland Paris direct? I've booked with them and can still get Disney express even though I'm doing Eurostar separately. Im guessing closer you get to dates more expensive they get

Just rang Eurostar for a quote and she said £379 so yes, that's almost half Disney's price! Need to get thinking!

Forgot to say that to add the Disney Express to your booking it's £16 per adult, no charge for children. :thumbsup2

I think that's worth it :)

Right.. thinking Montana room in the main building. Sequoia is the most Christmassy hotel, right? I feel like I should book ASAP now I've seen what Disney are charging for Eurostar.. want to get the cheapest rates!

I think Sequoia Lodge is definitely the most Christmassy of hotels, nothing beats having a hot chocolate in the Redwood Bar! After staying in one of the lodges this time, I think I'd definitely pay the extra to have a montana room!

If you're set on dates, I'd book the Eurostar first as the price will only go up. You'll then have plenty of time to think about hotels/deals etc. :goodvibes

Sorry, I'm sure this has been asked a zillion tmes, but what is the difference between Montana and not - is it just that the non Montana rooms are in lodges? Also, is it just that you have to trapse outside to breakfast and get really cold, or are there more differences than that?

I think I will text MIL to ask if we're 100% set on dates, then ring up to buy the Eurostar tickets. I don't know why I'm so scared to do this :P I think we are 99% set on the dates though, I don't want to take the kids out of school for more than 2 days so it needs to be Thu-Sun, and any later in the term is too close to Christmas play season!

Definitely get the Eurostar booked up asap, the price goes up the later you book it.

I booked my Eurostar and then booked my hotel with Disney. The lady on the booking line for Disney told me you can add Disney express at any time up to the day before you travel.

We arrive 26th November for 3 nights. I had originally booked the Sequoia on an early booking offer but then upgraded to the HNY when the current offers came out. I'm excited about staying in the HNY because I've never stayed there before (only the DLH left to try now!) but also a little bit sad because the SL is really magical at Christmas. :santa:

Happy planning!! :cheer2:
