why dont you allow deletion?

Why are we not able to delete our accounts....people on here are verbally attacking me and others as Ive read when trying to find out how to delete my account, I noticed I wasnt the only one.

Its extremely inappropriate when people are just trying to be friendly. As nice as some people are, the ones that are rude, ruin it. So why am I not allowed to delete my account? and Is there a way to delete my posts that Ive made so that they are no longer made fun of? Although Im sure even this one will be found as apparently Im being watched...

You can't delete your posts or your account, but you CAN edit your posts to remove anything you regret having posted.

And there's no need to delete an account. if you no longer wish to participate here, simply stop posting.
