Been there, done that! Never again! Bro-in-law cancelled 5 days in advance when he was lectured by me and my DH about the consequences. We had booked him 2 nights and he decided he could only do 1 night. So 1 nights points went into holding. Then when we got there (BWV) he was so impressed that he asked me about getting him more rooms in the future. I just chuckled an evil laugh to myself deep down inside. For he does not know it yet but there is no availability for him for the next 48 years! And no one else we know and love for that matter!
My delightful mother in law (NOT) came on this trip as well and threw a hissy fit because they put her in a handicapped room. (meanwhile I would have stayed in it because it was bigger and had a huge bathroom but MIL looks to be negative whenever possible) anyway she called the front desk and was very rude to them, as I sunk under the bed trying to hide. All for a room she was not even paying for!
NEVER AGAIN! LESSON LEARNED!!!
