why don't I ever get codes???

I have NEVER gotten a pincode! We've been registered for 3 years, get all of the newsletters and propoganda, have booked 2 vacations in the last year, and STILL no pincode....Not even a bad pincode...NO PINCODE!!

Is it our location??? We're near Kansas City. Anyone from around KC here get a pincode???? I WANT A PINCODE!!!! It's killing me knowing everyone else is getting pincodes that I would use and I can't get one.

Right there with you! I am an AP holder, a Disney Visa cardholder, I am registered on every website, ordered DVD's, everything I can think of......I am still waiting for a PIN!!

I've been going to WDW and signing up for all sorts of Disney related things for the past 20 years. I just recieved my first pin code this year.

Have you called Disney and asked if you have a pin associated with your name? I called yesterday and apparently have a pin for August something through October 1 (we're going end of October) so it wont' work for us. A friend of mine called today and had a free dining pin and some discounts for different hotels . . . neither of us would have known if we hadn't called!

I called Disney yesterday to check for a code and I don't have one. I was told by the second CM they are not suppose to check anymore, but she did it one last time for me. I had another CM (first call) say no and that unless you got a pin code by e-mail, etc. there was nothing she could do. I tried again and I got a nicer CM. There's no way for sure to know if a CM is indeed looking for a code for you, either even if they say they will try. Obviously, if you get one that way then you know they tried for sure.

With the nicer CM I asked if there was anyway for me to increase my chances of getting a pincode and she didn't have an answer aboit it.

The only time I received a postcard pin code was one year that I took two trips. I don't know if multiple trips in the same year got me on a certain mailing list; who knows.

I did hear a while back that taking surveys at the Disney parks can help. You usually see this being done near the entrance/exit areas. This hasn't been mentioned too much as of late, here. Another way is to register for your birthday free pass. It seems quite a few who do this get an offer for their month or the week of their birthday for a 40% resort discount. That's as good as it gets basically for a resort discount. You increase your chances by registering everyone in your family for their birthdays.

Being registered on as many Disney sites as possible supposedly does help. The Disney Visa card is probably the best way to get a discount for most; at least this was true in the past. I'm hoping a Disney Visa offer will come toward August for the winter time.

When we have a Disney trip, I make the plans, I make the phone calls and I pay the bills. Who gets the codes? My mother???? She lives with me and she has a DISNEY visa card that is attached to my account. Other than that, I have not idea why she gets the codes and not me.

I feel your pain.I have been wishing for a PIN for 5 years now and NO LUCK. We go every other year anyway. It seems from post that others recieve 2-3 a year and I don't even get one. It really does not sound that RANDOM to me.
