Why don't deluxe resorts have a line barriers at their bus stops?

At Pop Century, there are lines with metal barrier lanes at each bus stop to accommodate long lines of people. But the deluxe resorts do not have lanes at their bus stops. Why not? Are people at the deluxe resorts more likely to take a taxi?

The Deluxe Resorts have far less rooms so less guests boarding at any one time.

If you simply compare the numbers, Pop Century and BWI for example. Pop has 2881 rooms, while BWI has only 378, there are simply fewer people and no need for crowd control.

Because Muffy and Stew at the GF are more civilized than Bob and Jane at the Pop.

Just kidding....I think.

But it is because of numbers as others have said.

Actually the Moderates don't have line queue barriers either but they have more stops (except for POFQ which is smaller) so number of people waiting would be spread out. I agree that is is necessary with the size of the values it would be a madhouse scramble when a bus would come. This even happens sometimes at the Moderates - people aren't always form the best lines on their own.

Personally, I feel all resorts should have line rails like when you leave a park. We stay deluxe and many times you will see people just walk up to the bus stop, ignoring others who are either seated or standing back, waiting for the bus, just walk up and board ahead of all the others. It ticks me, since we've been patiently waiting and know who was there first and kindly wait our turn but only to see others just head for the bus door and board, I don't let it bring down my stay but always wondered where their sense of courtesy or manners were left. I know we go and try to sit to wait and sometimes just sit and watch the others and see our bus pass by, with the metal rails defining a line, it would be much easier and less confusing and deter the ones who just walk up and cut. They wouldn't have to be long rails but at least some defined line of entry. It wasn't a problem a few years ago but as time marches on, people are losing there manners and courtesy to others, I remember when, please and thank you went along way but its slowly slipping away, patience is a virtue and should be taught by example and handed on.

The value resorts also have different stops for all the park buses. I think WL and maybe AKL are the only deluxes that do this but even then some stops will share a stopping spot. Otherwise all the buses stop in the same location so it would be more difficult to put in barriers since people could be going to one of 5 locations.

I'm just the opposite. I don't think I would like it, if my beloved WL or gasp God forbid the Beach Club (as I clutch my chest fearfully) had those ugly metal polls running outside the resort. I do agree with you that unfortunately patience and courtesy are virtues in short supply, nowadays. how many post do we see complaining that people had to wait, horrors of horrors  25 minutes for a bus or asking what's the best resort for transportation.
