Why doesn't WDW have any mosquitoes?

You've never visited Ft Wilderness have you? That's where they keep all of the mosquitoes!

Thanks for the laugh! When I performed in SpectroMagic we would stage the parade on the road behind Jungle Cruise about 45 minutes before step-off. We used Deep Woods Off, and even then I would come out positively covered in mosquito bites every night! Those little bugs were the bane of my existence! I must admit, I about spit tea all over the moniter when I read that!

So, the answer to your question is there are mosquitos in WDW, they're just too busy eating the tasty characters to care about the guests!

Yup! Stand outside Pioneer Hall waiting for the Hoop-Dee-Doo and you'll find all you want. You'll probably find them anywhere out of the mainstream.

I'm sure the resorts and parks are chemically treated to keep them under control. It's very common in Florida to treat yards for a bunch of insects, especially fire ants. We've lived here almost four years and hardly ever see a mosquito because everyone has their yard treated.
