Why does UK get preferential pricing?

Haven't tried those, we are AP holders. But thanks for the tip! :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

Yeah, me too and those UK Ultimate Tickets can't be used to upgrade to an AP as their prices are not stored in the ticket computers at WDW apparently.

P.S. Just noticed you have a Disney Dream cruise and OKW vacation coming up, we do as well, but a couple of weeks after you :-)

We get the 7 day UK tickets as those ARE in their system and can be used towards an AP! ;)

We're going to spend a month at Disney - well 17 days OKW and 3 cruises - starting August 13, when are you going?

Note that the best deals on UK tickets are two and three week tickets. There are no US tickets that long other than AP's, and the UK tickets are designed to be used for a single visit.

This is my biggest complaint when it comes to US vs UK. We would loved to have spent another 3-5 days (and money) in the parks, but the price jump from 10-day pass to AP for all of us for those few extra days was just too much. It would be nice if they would offer 11+ days for an additional $25/person/day.

I'm sure it is cheaper, per person, to get to Disney from the US via any method of travel than it is to fly from overseas. BUT, we did spend 2K on travel expenses this year, with 5 days total travel time, so we would have upgraded to something less than an AP if the option was available.

How can I do it if I am not UK resident, no Enlgand passport and no residence there?

No one has an English (or Welsh, Scottish, etc.) passport. ;) We have British passports.

(Sorry for being so pedantic, but this kind of thing drives me absolutely crazy - like when people refer to the UK pavilion in Epcot as the 'England pavilion'. It's pretty insulting to every British citizen who is not English.)

Go to the Disney UK website, price it out and book it yourself - some tickets are for UK guests only, but the rest is open for ALL of us Europeans. If your TA won't do it for you - do it yourself - I manage all my own bookings - easy!!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup2

::yes::

sorry but I don´t understand the reason.
I live en Spain and we don´t have those fantastic offers. and we have to pay de flght ticket from Europe too, and of course we spend more or less the same money as UK people.

In Spain we would like to have the same prices as in UK, but it is not that way :confused3

I think you actually may be able to book directly through the UK Disney site. I went through putting in a package just to see what it came out to and when I got to the payment screen there was a drop down list of countires to select. The US and Canada weren't on the list...it looked to be all European countries - I didn't see Spain specically but I imagine it would be there.

Okay everyone who is saying people other than British people can book on the UK site and get the deals...

Would that include Australians?

My brother and his girlfriend and flying in for a trip in January. He's American, but she is Australian. He lives there, though.

Can they book through the site?

Agreed:confused3 Its like when i stayed in Maryland. The people i was staying with thought EVERYWHERE was a suberb of London. He even said "I have a friend called Louise who lives in Notting Hill, do you know her ?":rotfl:

Although you are not able to book through the Disney UK site you can still take advantage of the Disney UK deals by booking through some UK travel agents. As I've said previously I have friends (including one in Australia) who has done this :)

:rotfl: I was unaware that English people ran into such geographical misunderstandings too! I'm closer to London than you and I'm in Wales.

thanks a lot for your information. thanks thanks thanks!!! :cool1:
I will check it in the UK site.

Epcot.girl, please excuse me for my mistake, you have all the reason. sorry again. I will never forget is "British" passport. :flower3:

Not only do we have very few direct flights now, it costs aprox $750 more to fly from N.Ireland than the mainland.
A quirk of perception -- by "mainland," do you refer to that island we call "England"? ;)

Wow!! I never knew that Great Britain and England aren't the same thing!! So England is a country in Great Britain and London would be in England?

Sorry for the stupid question haha I swear I have a college education!!!!:)

When we booked ours I enquired if our family in Canada could also take advantage of the offer. I was told yes as long as someone from the UK will be booking it on their behalf.
