It used to be by far our favorite CS on property. TONS of choices, fresh food, and great deal on the dining plan. We would actually leave the park everyday to eat our lunch back at the resort.
Unfortunately, things change. They took away most of the options at the Mexican grill and Italian stations, making everything bland and the choices minuscule. They were famous for their wet burrito and then took it away completely! Sad.
I don't worry too much about the 10% because usually we are on the ddp. Even if we weren't, remember that buffets expect 18% and they do the same as PM servers- get drinks and clear plates. We usually take it to go anyways and eat outside
Correct me if I'm wrong (I've never eaten there but heard about it) but I thought Cosmic Rays was similar in that there are several different stations that would require families to split up when ordering? Same with most food courts? Sure, the PM takes a bit longer because the food is fresh, but I consider that a plus.
