Why does she hate me???

I finally got around to doing the No More Trouble Zones workout this afternoon. Once again, I started with 3 pound weights and quickly changed to 1 pound. (I should dig out my 2-pound weights.) I am terrible at doing plank exercises, but managed to get through the rest. I had to pause after the 5-minute warm-up to catch my breath and drink some water!

I could have written your post in December. I couldn't do three pushups much less the entire circuit then. Now, I am doing level 2 and alternating backward tow level 1. Jillian and I have regular meetings 6 days a week. I have plateaued again on my weight loss but I also dropped the amount of time I was working out for 2 weeks.

It will get easier. My best advice to this is do the modified version aka Anita workout and then once that is done comfortably then move on to hard core workout aka Natalie workout. Once you are comfortable with that then move on to level 2.

I came to the Wish board hoping I could find my new outlet. I am worn out all the time and I want to see results. They are there and Jillian can do it.

The best thing I have heard from my kids is.......Mom I can get my arms all the way around you not just part of you.

Is there any way to make a Shred thread with pictures and or motivation?

Ok, so I did day 1 level 1 yesterday and it was tough!! So I get up today and I can't even walk down the steps without my thighs burning!!! I can't wait unti tomorrow!

I did Day 10 of level one yesterday, after not doing any workouts for three weeks! (I was on vacation part of the time.) While I wasn't aching today, I definitely had less endurance during yesterday's workout than when I did Day 9 - three weeks ago.

**Guess I should explain that I got the 30 Day Shred DVD for my birthday in April, and decided to do that for 30 days instead of No More Trouble Zones. I started doing 30 Day Shred on May 4, and got through 9 workouts at level 1 before going on vacation May 20-31. When I got home, it took me over a week until I got around to exercising again! :(

So, I gave up on shred. After day 2 of level 3, had a bit of pain in right abs & corresponding area of back. didn't think much of it. did day 3. still there. Then carried heavy bags thru airports, carried heavy kids on my right hip while in FL, pushed heavy cart thru Costco, came home & 13 days later did day 4 of level 3. I think I tore/strained something.

Pain is now basically gone, but not totally normal still on the right side of back & abs. Back muscles in that area ridiculously tight, especially when I first wake up, & when they are tight, the ab area aches as well.

I really think I overdid on the Jillian & the other stuff, as I can tell certain movements/activity make it worse, or at least more noticable. I'm hoping to start over with level 1 soon & see if it is ok, or not. Just a mild trial. It is just too darned ab intensive!! But I did love the results I was seeing! The ab/back stuff, was, however exactly as DD described her torn ab muscle from ab intensive Yoga. UGH!!

I did the same thing but to my knees! They are finally feeling better. I had to stop working out the week before our trip and had quite a bit of pain during the trip especially when I had to bend my knees to get onto a ride. I bought a knee brace and used it a few times but the pain is gone. I'm going to try to get back onto the elliptical and maybe try the Biggest Loser workouts again soon.
