Why does she do this???

LOL Yes, Jenz...you must. I don't want to run into her somewhere.

There was a REALLY obnoxious woman on Dr Phil one time who talked like that to her husband. Exactly WHAT did that guy (seemingly normal) see in her??? Yes...she needs to go too. ::yes::
OMG, I remember her!!!! Pwease...pwease...I was ready to throw up!!!!! Or, I guess I should say, frow up!!!!

Several years ago I worked in an office with a group (4) of ladies, ages 40-65 who ALL talked baby talk most of the day, it was nauseating! The oldest lady even called herself "Joycie-poo" and called her 30 something daughter "wittle Kimmie" (which was funny in itself as "wittle Kimmie" is over 6 ft tall and about 400lbs and very mannish, so the name just didn't go with the person) (NOT a jab at her size, just saying the name didn't suite her!)

I have a client who does this. She is probably 55 years old. And her daughter does it too. I try to ignore it but it is rather annoying. "Just a wittle twim." Ack!

Next time she talks that way, tell her that if she does it again you're going to shove a real Kit Katt down her widdle bitty throat.

:rotfl2: Projectile vomiting might work also.

I agree - you cannot pick your own nicknames NOR can you refer to yourself in the 3rd person...

Cathryn is done commenting on this....
That's right, Cathryn Wathryn...:teeth:

she is 36 years old - I know, I know .... as much as it drives me crazy - it is sad

My mother is near 50. It NEVER stops. :guilty:

However--luckily she is bilingual. She can speak grown-up when it is necessary. But sometimes it comes out as baby-up...when few ooga buggy boo's sneak in there.

ETA: Luckily she doesn't do this professionally--the only wonderful benefactors of her bilingual baby talk abilities is family. Lucky us.

OMG :earseek: I did not realize that anybody else did that! My SIL talks baby talk all the time, to her mom, her friends, the dog, her husband(at least #2 & #3, so far  ) It makes me want to barf! I simply refuse to converse with a 50yo woman(or her 84yo mother!) who won't speak like an adult. I never even talked to my kids like that!

All of these people must be rounded up and destroyed....

MY GOD PEOPLE - they could be breeding right now!!! :earseek:
