Why does my glass shower door always have water spots?

I use a combination of vinegar and water to spray the shower walls, fixtures, and glass doors after each shower. It works to keep the spots off the doors and helps to keep the shower stall clean. I use l/2 cup vinegar to l and l/2 cups water and use a spray bottle. We have hard water too. This has helped with the spots and cleanliness of the shower immensely. Hope it helps you.
That sounds like an idea! I bought a can of Sprayway cleaner someone here recommended to get rid of the spots I have, then maybe vinegar and water will keep future spots away. But I still would love to know the secret of the Disney housekeepers.

I tried all the cleaners in the cleaning aisle. None of them worked. Barkeepers Friend works.

I hope it will work for your shower. Everyone's water content is different, but even with ours having lots of minerals, this works just fine. I put a few drops of essential oil in the bottle to make it smell nice.

Try Wet and Forget. It worked well on my old shower door with years of buildup and water droplet outlines.
