Why do you DIS?

I love the boards because there is always an interesting thread going on somewhere. Originally I was just on here for Disney trip planning purposes, but have branched out to the other boards. Just yesterday I found a thread about those of us trying to get pregnant and it was great to join in on that.

I think the people on here are great and its so nice to have friendly people to come talk to anytime I want. And the best thing is, we all have the common obsession of Disney! I think that is why we are all so great!

I started visiting the old boards in 1998 when my now-8yo dd was 6mo back then and we took our family trip to WDW.

Now I come here for trip planning in general, comraderie, humor, learning from each other, and support. There has been some chaos in my life recently and the DIS has kept me stable. lol

Now the DISdrama I can do without, but that's what makes the world go round.

I dont have any trips in the works to any of the parks right now but its still home.
