Great update and pics with Mickey. The last day is coming up. :sad2: That is good cause I start school Wednesday so I don't think I will be dising all too much.
:thumbsup2
Sorry Scott. There will still be as many updates as I can to drag this out. But good for you that they will be quickie ones! :thumbsup2

As you know, I hate the last day!
Just wait for my next update ... and you will know how much I hated the last day. That's all I'm saying about that.

:rotfl2:

I think you made the right decision (but I understand the temptation too!)
For what it's worth--we didn't like Epcot EMH cause they wouldn't use the FP machines.
It was oh so tempting to stay! And my feet were killing me! But in the end, I'm glad we got our rest.

Great video!! I love that Alec got covered up with napkins. And didn't even move:rotfl2: He must have been sooooo tired.

I think it was smart to go back instead of staying for EMH. Cranky Kids=no fun. I learned that the hard way with my DD:sad2:
Covered in used napkins ... :scared: Cranky kids are absolutely no fun. Been there, had that. No more cranky kids EVER ... in my dreams.

Great pics/video with Mickey.I love the way Brookie popped that paci out of her mouth to greet Mickey and put it back in when she was done.:thumbsup2

Poor Alec he must have been exhausted.
Thanks! I noticed the binkie in and out too. At least she did take it out, huh?

What is it about Spaceship Earth? My DD wanted to ride it so bad but thankfully it was shut down.

It is a good place to take a nap.
There is something about Spaceship Earth that we really like. We do find it very relaxing. Maybe because it's the first attraction Rob & I went on during our honeymoon and the first the kids went on on their first trip.

In ALL our trips to WDW, we've never done EMH. The horror!

Back in the day, LtP and I did do what they called Early Entry. It was fun but now we've learned to avoid EMH parks. It's just our little plan.
We did Early Entries too and used to love them. We did them with the kids back in 2003 and it was tough. We did a couple of EMHs during this trip and some of them worked out great for us.

Ohhhhhhhhh....poor Alec. It's tough on the wee ones eh?
Wee ones? He's 6. Not so wee. But compared to your girls, I guess so. He is a kid who can stay up late and get up early. But snores like a log when he's out.

I think you made a wise choice not to stay for EMH. It probably would have made for cranky tired children on your last day - the day you want to be special :upsidedow
Oh yes ... our last day. Wait until you hear about that ... and that's all I can say for now.

I enjoyed being able to watch your video :yay:
You finally have your high speed in?

it's ok I will check back on December 18th when class is over, maybe it will be done by then. :rotfl2:

I could not do the dragging it out (alot do on here) I have to have it either done right away or I have to have it that day. Probably why I have so many Ipods and cd's and dvd's. I cannot wait. never could. bad trait.

Welcome back. You must be very busy. We had a great time in Epcot altogether. Rob & I both agreed that that day was one of our best, even though we left earlier than we wanted.

Yes, I think part of the secret is to be able to not overdo it. I find it very hard to not go on and on and on when I am at Disney. The friend I am travelling with really likes to sleep in and take long breaks, so even when we sometimes split up, it makes me slow down as well. For February we have actually an ADR for breakfast at AKL so that we can get an easy start on that day. :scared1:

It's getting a major face-lift. Hope they change that voice too! :sad2:

I think it should be about Aliens with blasters and cool space ships, yeah! Maybe even a few robots with cool space ships, yeah! Maybe a race of intelligent Chickens with cool space ships, yeah!

It's Space Ship Earth so I want some Space Ships, yeah!

Uhm ... you most certainly will NOT wait until December to check my TR. My TR should be on the tops of your must-do's!! ;) Seriously, I am thinking about 2 weeks and my TR will be finished ... :sad1:

Since you're staying at the AKL it shouldn't be too hard to make that breakfast ADR! I can barely remember what it was like to travel as an "adult" ... :guilty:

Great. Thanks for leaving me hanging! :thumbsup2
Just playin'!
Update coming up tomorrow! So you won't be hanging too much!!!

No aliens with blasters. That would be Buzz Lightyear ... nah!

No robots with cool space ships. That would be Buzz Lightyear ... nah!

No intelligent chickens with cool space ships. That would be Chicken Little ... nah.

A rollercoaster spinning around different parts of the Earth's cool places would be great.

Going down Victoria Falls ... yeah!

Racing around up and down the pyramids ... yeah!

Spinning around the Grand Canyon ... yeah!

Friday, June 29...Magic Kingdom
It’s all about Brookie ...

Hopes:
1. More PhotoPass pictures taken...
2. Good lunch at The Liberty Tree Tavern...
3. Relief of my blistered feet...
4. A meeting with the Dream Team

Wants:
1. A magical day to remember on our last day

Our last full day was here. I could feel it already. But I was very glad that we saved our last day to spend at the Magical Kingdom. We were not in a hurry to get there. We planned on sleeping in, getting ready, going to the Magic Kingdom. I planned on renting an ECV for the day because my feet were absolutely killing me. I wanted to be able to enjoy our day with minimal walking and this really seemed to make sense. We planned on taking in a few attractions, having lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern, and then going back to POR for a rest. We then planned on returning later for a counter-service dinner and more attractions. It was EMH evening at the Magical Kingdom and the plan was to go until we absolutely were ready to drop. That was the plan. That’s not exactly how it went. And so I start this part of my TR with our high hopes ...

We all slept in a bit. Not too long. I can’t remember what time but it certainly was not too late. We all got ready and we were out the door. Brookie was a jabber-jaw on our walk to the bus stop. She was definitely ready to go.
busto18.jpg

Here is a video of our little walk from our room to the bus stop. You can see a couple of things in this video:

1. What a jabber-jaw Brookie was on the walk. There was no clue of what was to come ...

2. At the beginning of the video is a bit of me walking on the right-hand side. I am limping because of my blisters.

Walking to the bus stop ...

A Magic Kingdom bus arrived and a bunch of people swarmed to the door to get on. However, another bus came up behind. This bus was a Disney Cruise Line bus - the ones with the “port-hole” windows. There was a sign in the front window that said Magic Kingdom so I had the family casually walk over there and we were the first ones on the bus there and had a lot of room to ourselves. Ha Ha! To those fools all rushing to get on the packed bus.

WARNING: Some things mentioned in the next paragraph may be upsetting to some. Proceed with caution ...

I’m glad our bus was not crowded at all. And here is why. Just after we leave our resort, Brookie started to cry. She was crying and saying, “My ‘gina hurts, MY ‘GINA HURTS!” We were mortified. It was awful. There was nothing we could do except get to the Magic Kingdom and decide what to do from there. She also was saying she had to go to the bathroom. So Rob and I decided to get off the bus at the MK and head straight for the restrooms.

I told Rob to take Brookie to the restroom near the First Aid Center whilst I got the stroller with the boys. The boys and I got the double stroller and we headed over to the restrooms. As we were waiting for Rob and Brookie to come out of the restroom, I took 2 pictures. First, an odd angle of the railroad station ...

... and then the fire house. This one was taken especially for Rob as he is a volunteer fireman.

It didn’t really take long before Rob came out and Brookie was still crying. Rob said, “Is this piss on the everything in the bathroom day?” Rob was ticked. He said the bathroom was disgusting and refused to even attempt to have Brookie go potty in there. So I took Brookie into the ladies room and we found a nice large stall. I had her sit on the potty and she didn't go. She said she was all done. So I pulled her pants back up. We went out to wash our hands and then she said she had to go again. So back we went into the same stall and the same thing happened.

At this point, I knew she was just in pain and she thought she had to go. She just wouldn’t stop crying. A decision had to be made.

I walked back out with Brookie crying. I handed Rob his and the boys’ KTTW cards along with the child swap passes saved from Sunday. I told Rob that I would go back to the room with Brookie in hopes of her feeling better. We had 2 adult table service meals and 1 child TS meal left. I told Rob to take the boys to the Liberty Tree Tavern at 11:40 am for lunch and make sure Evan gets an adult meal.

We said our goodbyes and I told Rob to call me after lunch ...

I think that was so funny with Brookie the jabber jaw. But what a turn she took! I will give a brief update and what the problem was later.

I'm using YouTube for the video. It has a slightly better quality than Photobucket and a much faster upload!

Don't worry. I won't leave you hanging about Brookie. I'll update later on what the problem was.

Only time will tell if we get back to the MK. But I'll get an update later on what the problem with Brookie was.
