You know I'm gonna copy you and do this on my TR now! :teeth:

We asked Mickey if Laura and I could have a picture and of course he was more than happy
to be the mouse in the middle...

To sum up our breakfast, the best part of it would have to be having a nice long time
meeting up with Laura and her family. The next best part was taking the pictures of the
characters with the kids. But they were certainly very rushed and not very interactive at all.
The food was fine. Like I said, I’m not a big breakfast person so I really cannot tell you how
good or bad the food was. I didn’t really even eat too much. Would we go back here? Probably
not but we’re glad we went once.

Yeah!!! Lookie at Donald!!! :donald:
We thought the same thing about this breakfast. Not very good, but I'm glad I did it and I purposely went to it to be sure I met Donald. ;)
Love the pic with Laura too!

Good Morning Dawn Marie! Try to stay cool today! :woohoo:

What's the latest poll results DM???
Last time I checked--the DIZers (aka the RIGHT ones) were far in the lead!:rotfl2:

And, uh......what's with the "Even a Canadian..."--are we still discriminating against our northern neighbors??? Cause they can't HELP it if they live north of the Mason Dixon line!

Scott--can you read this?? or this?? or this???
REMEMBER--LIME GREEN LOOKS GOOD ON EVERYONE AND EVERYONE ENJOYS READING LIME GREEN FONT......:lmao:
I love me some Canadians! I just need to have fun with them, as they are foreigners you know! I'll be doing a post poll tomorrow. Get ready people! And I like the lime green also! Thanks Tracy...

Have a good day DM :)

You know I'm in the Disssss camp :rotfl2: Cute photos of Brookie and what is going on with Mickey's trousers :lmao:
We ran errands all day and then forgot to get some crickets. Yes, you read that correctly. We need some live crickets for the boys' frogs.

Yes - we rode Tower of Terror with Laura and her family and Courtney & Ryan, and then we caught up with Laura at the "Off Kilter" show. I wish we all would have had more time to have a big lunch or dinner together! ;)

I will call you if we are ever in your neck of the woods and you can make me salt potatoes!! :goodvibes

Renee
That's right! I forgot you all did the Tower of Terror together. I thought of you all that night while we were back at the resort watching TV. If I had park hoppers I would have been there!!!!

Love the trip report-I think I'll be making an ADR at Le Cellier for my trip when I get home. :)
I'm a preemie (former preemie? was a preemie? whatever) so preemie kids have a soft spot in my heart.
Welcome-03-june.gif
Definitely go to Le Cellier! I hope you made your ADR. It is great! Aw, you were a preemie too? How much did you weigh and at what week were you born?

Great updates and I totally agree-Mickey is definitely wearing grandpa pants! :rotfl2:

I didn't realize til I read it here that there was such a debate over DIS or DIZ. :confused3 I never really thought about it and always assumed it was DIS until I read somewhere else, awhile back, that is was correct to say DIZ. That was news to me. Now you would think based on my name that it's always been DIZ to me, but you would be so wrong! I picked that name, like 10 years ago, to sell a few things on Ebay and I purposely missed spelled Dizney so as not to get in any trouble with the Big Cheese. :goodvibes I like the name, so now I use it alot.
When I read that it was supposed to be DIZ I changed the way I said it-now I don't know what to do-DIZ or DIS, what's a girl to do!

Thanks for letting me know it's okay either way, and keep the reports coming! :woohoo:
It will always be DISSsss to me. It's just fun with the little debate thing. I did a poll on the CB and sadly the DISssers lost.

Well I hope you have a great day.

I will be :surfweb:

Too HOT to go outside.
We had a fine day. It was very hot and soupy but the wind was horrible. My hair was all over the place and I couldn't stand it. I heard that Brooklyn had a tornado touch down. Where are you? Are you in NYC or just close to it?

You got some great pictures at breakfast! Sorry the food was a let-down. Were you planning on meeting Laura there, or was that just a coinky-dink?

Denise
Laura & I made plans to meet up. We had a couple of different plans originally but then she convinced me to get an 8 am ADR at Donald's so that's where we met up. I really liked meeting up that way as we were able to talk a bit longer without the kids bugging us to move along...

Dizney....Dizney....Dizney....& I am A Dizer!!!!!

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
You say tomato I say tomato....let's call the whole thing off! :lmao:

Bye DM!! I'm marking my page here cause I'm sure there will be a zillion pages over the next 9 days!!!
See you all on the 18th!
Darn it! I missed you. You will be posting pics on our Focker site, right?

DM - another great update! We have the same opinion of Donald's as you...glad we did it once but probably won't do it again.
Thanks Sonya. Always good to do once. Must always try new things and I love doing that!

Ha ha! Wait until Jen does it. Who will be the top 10? ;) I think everyone who went to Donald's is glad they did it once.

Good Morning Dawn Marie! Try to stay cool today! :woohoo:
Good morning. And, you don't know me too well but you will..... It's time to reprimand you on misspelling my name!!!! It's DawnMaree - no space in between and spelled with 2 e's instead of an i. Now get it right chicaroo. :rotfl2:

That is what I heard about Brooklyn. I am on the upper west side on 70th close to Lincoln Center. It actually woke me up the storm and I never get woken up.

I think my name is here but I am not sure. Does this color not kill anyone else's eyes. I am happy I was told only one more installment will have it. :woohoo:

4. A meeting with the Dream Team

I wish I could say we had one but nope :guilty:

Wants:
2. Ride Expedition Everest with Laura at park opening
3. Ride Dinosaur

Two of my favorite rides! :woohoo:

Our bus seemed like it took forever to get to the Animal Kingdom.

I do believe that the bus ride to AK always seems to take forever. Well it doesn't help with us, because on our route, we have to stop at Blizzard Beach first. Oh. And try having to PEE really bad and hold it the whole ride. Yeah, not cool. You'll read that story in my T.R. :flower3:

..then Goofy...with Brookie saying, "Oh shhhhhhhh.....ugar.

Well, at least you weren't near that. Thank goodness. I'm not too familiar with NYC. I have lived in NY all but 1 month of my life and I have never been to NYC. I guess I am a bit intimidated by it. I've been to Los Angeles a bunch of times but NYC, well, that scares me. Go figure! :confused3

Doesn't kill my young 41-year-old eyes...

Yes, our bus stops at Blizzard Beach also. I've been in the pee situation before. Not in Disney but other places and I know how it feels!!! I'm glad I made your morning with that Goofy picture!

You are a good Mummy buying crickets for pet frogs :rotfl2:
Of course I am! The boys have a frog pond that we bought at the Discovery Store. They each had a tadpole which Evan named George and Alec named Freddy. Freddy is still a tadpole but George's tail is just about gone so he will be a full-fledged Leopard Frog soon. He needs crickets and I sure hope we can find them!

i lived in LA for 2 years and I feel safer walking down any street in NYC at 3 am then I did in LA at any time. You should really come down. Try to get tix to "Little Mermaid" when it opens. I would love to see "Mary Poppins" but just have not gotten the tix yet. I was going to a Dismeet last week but it was canceled and hopefully it will be re-scheduled for September at "Alfredo's".
If you do ever come down let me know I will show you all around. "World of Disney" 55th and 5th. great store. I think I am going to go there and see about a part time job while I get me certificate.

4!!

I've been a lurker all this time, but I have finally posted. :) Loving your TR!
