Thanks for joining in and reading! I'm waiting on my PhotoPass before I can get the next update out. I promise to have it out ASAP when I get the PhotoPass. I've been tracking UPS for my shipment and it says (as of yesterday) that it is "in transit" to East Syracuse, NY. From there, it's just a quick delivery. Hoping for tomorrow....

Brookie thanks you for all her birthday wishes! She likes being "fee"! Yes, TE, her birthday really was July 8 and we did think that week was wonderful so we wouldn't have to pay for her yet at Disney World!

Yesterday was very hot but it poured on and off. We had the whole deck set up and it was sunny. Then, wham, rain hits an hour before the party and we are scrambling to get the cushions put away, etc. Rain stops, we dry the chairs off and take back out the cushions. Rain again! Put the cushions away. We did this, I kid you not, 4 times!!! And I was worried it would but too hot. It was still a very nice party even if we had to move the majority of it inside. We were able to hang outside later.

Oh yeah. I had a pretty white Cinderella dress for Brooke to wear for her party but right after it started raining I caught her running in the rain on the deck, then rolling on the floor next to Jake so I never changed her into that dress. No way was I going to have her look slum on me! Here's a couple of pictures of her party.

...and finally with her cake. You see clutter on my hutch behind Brooke. Sorry, I just had to do a lot of moving around really quickly and it all got plopped right there!

Sorry about the rain! We've been joking over here that we must be in FL, because the last 3 or 4 days have been very hot and sunny in the a.m., with t-storms building up in the afternoon, then steam. We got your rain this morning... But, it looks like a good time was had by all, anyway!
