Mommy & Daughter Day

We checked in for our 12:10 pm ADR at about 11:50 am. While we were
checking in a very nice CM came up to us and told us that Brookie would be
the Honorary Princess of the Day! princess: They put this little sticker on her gown...
P1010064.jpg

And this is where I end for now. The next update will include our whole
lunch and a bunch of GOOD pictures!

How cool that Brookie got to be Honorary Princess - VERY magical! Can't wait to see more photos.

DawnMaree Welch suggests: If you happen to have a clear plastic holder for your Keys to the World Cards, put your PhotoPass card with the scan showing through the clear plastic. Whenever you get your photo taken by a PhotoPass cast member, all the CM has to do is scan your card and it can be done without even taking the card out. After many times fumbling for our PhotoPass card, I'm so glad a CM saw me and told me about this. It sure saved some time and was so easy. I had the clear plastic holder attached to a lanyard around my neck, which made for even easier scanning!

I guess I am totally a celebrity now. I'll try to remember you little people....:rotfl2:

ahhhh so cool!!!!!!!!! I hadn't gotten to reading mine yet....I'm a little slow this week. I probably would have noticed though!

I have been trying the mousy mindboggler every week since I started getting that newsletter...I don't really like the ones they have had the past 3 weeks. And I have a feeling it will be the same today....

I will check it out after I read your newest update! I wanted to comment about this first. :)

I love the maps as usual! That was nice of the lady to bandage you all up. You sound like my DH.....he ALWAYS says "I'll give you a million dollars!" and occasionally he will say "I'll give you a quarter" but that is usually only to me...what a cheapskate! :rotfl:

princess of the day!! how cool is that? i can't wait to see brooke all dressed up too, she is adorable. :cutie:

This small person(4'11'') bows to the all knowing DM:thumbsup2 Good job on the tip.

Can't wait to see Brookie in her princess: dress and with the Disney Princesses.

I also can't wait to see her picture! :cutie:

Even though it was Magic Kingdom’s early EMH, I was not going to rush Brookie and tire her out. I wanted our lunch at Cinderella’s Royal Table to be enjoyable without a cranky girl.

That was probably a good idea! Good thinkin DM! :thumbsup2

I think she knew I wasn’t a millionaire...

I think so too...but that'll be our secret!:) But if you were, I think you like me enough to share some! :flower3:

I think it is written somewhere in Disney law books that everyone must take a picture of the castle each and every time they visit the Magic Kingdom...

I think there is too! I swear, we go every year. We have practically the same pictures of the castle in every photo album. I think it's just a natural reaction to take the picture that practically represents our favorite place!

So, back in the FP line we went with the pocketed FP. Did I feel bad about doing that? Heck no! I considered it my
own Dream FP.

What they don't know, won't hurt them!

We went over to the companion stall near Pinocchio’s Village Haus.

Oh gosh, I have a story about a companion stall...But it wasn't this one, it was the one over under where the Skyway ride used to be in Tomorrowland. If you want to know, I'll fill ya in!

Because there's nothing else up there! :lmao:

As I said before, we have a lot in common!:rotfl2:

And great tip too!

Mommy & Daughter Day

So she liked Snow White? AE screamed when she was 4 so I didn't ride it again till this past March! My 10 year said "why did you never take me on this ride???" Cause it was scary! (and I rode it with my niece who sort of liked it but didn't want to go again)

That is super cool!!!!

Great mommy/daughter day--I would love to do that sometime too!

Can't wait to see the pictures of Brooke in her Cinderella dress!! We were in MK that same day - it was HOT! That was the day we met up with my sister and her family and my brother-in-law promised me a "brazilian tour group flag" for next time! :lmao: Needless to say, we got A LOT accomplished that day!! LOL
I posted right before you posted chicaroo! I did think of you briefly when we were there but it really was almost nonstop from the time we entered the gates. I don't remember any Brazilians that day but we weren't there the whole day.

Again, another fantastic update.

:thumbsup2
Thank you sir!

It was nice of you to let Brooke sleep in! I was NOT that nice. :rotfl2:

I always have to do IaSW, but it was extra-special this time to see the kids taking it all in. I know exactly what you mean. :)

I'm excited for Brooke to be the Honorary Princess, and look forward to hearing more. I don't think this is something I'll ever experience, unless I get a granddaughter in 25 years... :rotfl:
I guess I am a nicer mommy than you are! Having 2 boys is still wonderful. I just had to try that one more time. I'm glad God blessed me with a girl on the final try. My GYN still thought I was crazy for wanting more babies after I almost didn't make it with my first.

Aww...Brookie on ITSA.
You're famous! That's awesome! (Don't they send you something for that?)
I don't get anything for that tip. Aw gee whiz. I guess I'm just a sweet person to hand out my wonderful tips to all subscribed!

How cool about being in the newsletter. I do get it but haven't read it yet this week, I will to check that out now.

Can't wait to see how cute Brookie looks in her Cinderella dress and getting to be honourary princess of the day, how neat!
I didn't even know I made the tip list until SingingMom clued me in this morning on another thread. She let me announce it here! :flower3: Brookie is absolutely beautiful in her little Cinderella gown.

How do you like your croc capris? I just purchased a pair for our up coming trip.
I really like my Croc Capris but I don't think they would be comfortable for all day walking in a sweaty condition. I think that is what really led to the blisters in the first place by giving me those hot spots. Otherwise, for everyday use, I absolutely love them!!!!1

I saw it, I saw it! I thought it had to be you! I LOVE Wednesdays, because of AllEars!

Are you feeling honored that I am actually responding to you, me being a celebrity and all! :lmao: One month???? You lucky ducky!

How cool that Brookie got to be Honorary Princess - VERY magical! Can't wait to see more photos.
It really was a surprise, more for me tho. ;)

You may have not known it was me. I don't know that I ever gave out my last name on this thread. But it's Welch....for everyone to know and remember! I'm a STAR!!! :cool2:

I think the first aid station does a lot of blister patch-ups! I was desperate when I walked into the station and a million dollars sounded about right...

Thank you dear reader....I shall do my very best to help all you little people. :lmao: Brookie looked absolutely adorable in her Princess dress...you'll see but not today.

I also can't wait to see her picture! :cutie:
But you will have to wait....

I am pretty smart when I want to be. And, the next home I buy when I win Powerball tonight will be in California. It will have a guest house so you are welcome to stay in it. I'll even take you to Disneyland!

Please do tell your companion stall story!!!!! popcorn::

As I said before, we have a lot in common!:rotfl2:
Only because you dream to be like me! :flower3:

Did you think you were so great that you had to say it twice???? :lmao: :lmao:

So she liked Snow White? AE screamed when she was 4 so I didn't ride it again till this past March! My 10 year said "why did you never take me on this ride???" Cause it was scary! (and I rode it with my niece who sort of liked it but didn't want to go again)
You big ole meany! I was sweating it for a bit but thankfully she was fine.

Oh no--the fire got too big. Better call the fire department
SexyFireman.jpg
Thank you. Now that Jo is in Disney I don't mind taking her firemen. I wish the firemen in Rob's department looked like that...:sad2:

Great mommy/daughter day--I would love to do that sometime too!
So why don't you??

Oh gosh, I have a story about a companion stall...But it wasn't this one, it was the one over under where the Skyway ride used to be in Tomorrowland. If you want to know, I'll fill ya in!

Is that the same thing as a "family bathroom" like in the mall?

Is that the same thing as a "family bathroom" like in the mall?
Yes...and you will realize, if you have babies, that they are much easier to go in than the teeny tiny stalls. Especially if you have a stroller or are alone with kids.

ooh yeah! singin'...."FIRE! FIRE! FIRE! FIRE! The way you walk, and talk really sets me off..."

Okay, here's the story! B.F. was waiting for me, sis, and mom to get out of the bathroom over there under the skyway ride in Tomorrowland. We come out and he told us to hurry over to him. He goes, "This guy and girl just went into the companion bathroom together and they're still in there!" So, we went on the people mover to see if they would come out or not while we were going by. As we went by after coming out of Space Mountain to head toward the Carousel of Progress part of the ride, it takes you ride by those bathrooms. We kinda lean over and look at the door and it still said occupied! Sorry, that wasn't a very exciting story as I made it seem:flower3: . But, it was pretty funny to us!

This small person(4'11'') bows to the all knowing DM:thumbsup2 Good job on the tip.

Hey we're about the same height! Power to the short people! :cutie:

Yeah!!! 4'9" over here!! :hippie:

There actually WERE Brazilians there that day! But, it was my brother-in-law teasing me, because I had our party ON A SCHEDULE!! He thought I deserved a "tour guide flag"! :rotfl:

I didn't even know I made the tip list until SingingMom clued me in this morning on another thread. She let me announce it here! :flower3: Brookie is absolutely beautiful in her little Cinderella gown.
That's because I'm a GOOD FRIEND. :goodvibes
